This is the logo that goes on the front pocket. The weird squiggly is a section symbol cuz we're from Section Z of the 1st year class.... Posted by Hello

This is a picture of the back of the t-shirt I designed. My friend Jenn helped make it all snazzy. The baby is Wells - our torts professor. Posted by Hello

211

I bowled a freakin' 211 last night at the Tort Team bowlathon...i've never bowled that high...at one point - i got four strikes in a row...i think its called a 4 bagger...woo hoo...i was told i would be punished for my dirty deed at a later time...

what else...um...i got my free ipod last week...its silver - matches my car...haha...i'm kidding...but yea its awesome...i know i know - i'm gonna look like everyone else w/ the stupid white earphones stickin out of my ears...but hey - when the caveman first started wearing a shirt...he was probably mocked too...but now everyone wears a shirt! {yea - that's my reasoning...and i'm sticking to it}

i've got some pics i need to post, but never get a chance when i'm at home...so someone remind me...there's one of hema playin soccer...so funny...she scored two goals the day i saw her play...unfortunately, they were in her own team's goal...hahah...it was hilarious

um...we had a surprise party for niraj's graduation...that went really well...i got pics of that too...it was a hawaiian-mexican theme because of where he's doing his rotations...the food was great...and charmi & hema did a great job decorating and planning the fun-filled night...i got to be MC and had a whale of a time mocking people - that is my passion really...just to be sarcastic at all times....even when i'm sleeping...my dreams are sarcastic...haha...that was kinda lame...but yea...it was cool...all sorts of lame doctor jokes were being made...we even passed out fake HMO cards promising free care from my bro...haha.

work's been pretty tyte...got to meet prez carter...later i'll have lunch with gov. barnes...we get to meet hank aaron at some point...its nuts...tonight is trivia...can't wait to go kick it...but first i gotta finish a memo on class action lawsuits...

so that's the news...keep it real.

The Summer of Sam.

ok...so my name isn't sam...but that title sounds kinda bad-ass...the summer of anuj just sounds dorky...so i'm stickin with the title...gives it a little horror twist...which is always nice...i must be morbid to say that...

newayz...finals are over...phew! some were a bitch and a half....others were alright and just what i expected...but overall it was a massive brain dump...i'm so thankful for the typing lessons i took as a teen...they came in handy...cuz i was whizzin thru that stuff and just writing for pages...

well...so that was last thursday...it was kinda anti-climactic to be honest...i thought end of 1L would be this heroic achievement...but...it was just relief really...i kinda miss not going to school...hangin w/ my fellow lawdorks...its like high school...i miss the gossip....the drama...the fights...well...60 outta 80 people in my class bought the t-shirt...thats cool cuz i came up with the idea and main graphic...its a spin on the incredibles....i'll put up a shot of it...

i couldn't really enjoy the last exam...cuz i had to zoom over to augusta for my bro's graduation from med school...they made him a doctor...i don't know what they were thinking....but the world is no longer safe in my opinion...and i got crap directions...so it took me forever to get there....the way back to athens was cool though...really short and scenic...so many farms...and cows...and muscadine vineyards....and plantation homes...i must have been a farmer in my past life....cuz i thought it would be cool to quit law school and work on a farm...the simple life ya know? (not like paris hilton)

(i'm gonna get a coke..brb)

ok...i'm back...hope u didn't miss me....anyway...so i packed up my stuff in athens and brought it down to mom's in marietta...you won't believe how much i could pack into my lil car....then i chilled over the weekend...and on monday started my new job! man...i'm not going to go into details...but this place is phat....lets just say the view from the 42nd floor is quite nice...

so that's been life...also my aunt is visiting from england...so its been cool...i've seen more of hema...but not as much as she would like, i think...hopefully we can do some cool stuff around town as soon as i turn in my brief for the law review write-on...

well...thats all for now...summer's here...1st year is behind me...and two years await...i'm looking forward to it.

The Swastika...

ok...before anyone launches a "anuj-hates-jews" attack...let me better explain the title...the swastika is a religious symbol from the hindu religion...i actually came across an article that was really cool...it talked about its origin and how it was prevalant in many forms throughout various indo-european cultures...here's a really cool excerpt:

One of the symbols the Aryans had was the sun wheel, representing the sun and originally meaning "well being". Originally a letter of the ancient Indo-European Sanskrit language, this emblem was carried by Celts, Germans and Slavs throughout their wanderings, with the Celtic Cross later incorporated into Christian symbolism. The sun-wheel was developed into the sign known today as the swastika and incorporated into the Indo-Aryan's religion, from where it was transported over into the Hindu religion, which sprang from a corruption of the Indo-Aryans' beliefs. This is the reason why the swastika can be seen to this day in Hindu temples.

i thought that was pretty cool how christianity and hinduism are tied in common roots...that just goes to show that we all have common roots and a common spiritual hand guiding us...its up to us to figure that out and focus on what's more important instead of fighting about artificial barriers that religions impose...

well...enough of my wise words for today..haha...exams aren't over yet...i have no motivation to study...i miss hema...(hema: if you're reading this -- I do!)...and i haven't seen my grandparents yet...or my mom...or my brother...and i still have two exams...and waa waa waa...well...this thursday i guess...have to make a beeline to augusta for niraj's graduation...some hooding ceremony...i knew MCG was really a base for the KKK....i think they have affirmative action now...which is why my brother is being inducted...hmmm

i guess its time to go to sleep...i am averaging 2 yawns per minute....so its time for me to nod off...

DISCLAIMER: that is not a real tobacco product. It is a hazel nut pirouette which was quite yummy, but still provided the bad-ass effect a cigar inspires.

Brain Dead.

grrgheer#%()*#$adljfad....to sum it up...that's how my brain feels right about now...i've been going through 4-5 days of intense studying...starts in the morning and goes till late at night...breaks are few...no windows in my cell either...wait ok...there is a window at dix's apt...but it sux...i just wanna finish my exams...and get the hell outta athens...

the good news is that its hema's birthday tomorrow! which means i'm stuck here while she's in atlanta...and what sux is that it will prob be like that for the next two years...so i'm gonna run for SBA president...and get exams pushed back an extra week....yup! that's my platform - VOTE for Anuj. Support Hema's Birthday Rights! ok...see...bad humor is the product of a rough day...

what else? um...my grandma called me today...and then hung up...and then when i called her back asking why she called, she said she never called in the first place...hahaha....that was soo funny...i was just like ok!...back to studying...

i played some good pool today...even goose said i did well...i'm gonna have to practice so that i can hustle hema's brother when he comes from england...he thinks he's snooker champ of the world..i'll show him...well maybe goose will show him and i'll just watch and engage in some good trash talk...yea..

well...i think i'll post up some pics from my birthday and other stuff before callin it a nite...exams start on tuesday...so wish me luck...i'll post at some point after my first two exams...and let you know how miserable they were...

'til my next despondent monologue...sigh.
